Education
Clarion UK have a service sector focused on supporting students at University or College. We support all students with additional learning needs to promote stress-free learning and achieve their full potential. We specialise in working with students with complex and challenging disabilities. From that first nerve-wracking college interview, to that proud moment when a student graduates, we are there for students every step of the way.
Keeping students safe
We have a dedicated, up to date and trained safeguarding team that are able to manage issues as they come up, qualifying concerns, communicating and reviewing on a regular basis, balancing client confidentiality and safety. We are available for worries about students’ wellbeing on a 24/7/365 basis, our leadership team, office staff and partners all know how important this is.
How we work?
We believe in excellence; we work tirelessly to match the right person to the student’s needs in terms of skill set, experience and location. With our Deaf and hard of hearing students, we endeavour to provide BSL Interpreters that also have a background in the students’ chosen educational path.
We believe in partnership; across the UK we have a trusted and experienced base of 420 partners who we support to do their job ensuring Clarion students come first. We are there with practical toolkits, support and advice for complex and challenging issues such as safeguarding and pastoral care.
We believe in teamwork; it can be a daunting task for students negotiating assessment centres, disability teams, Student Finance England and their degree. We make sure all stakeholders are involved in working together so a student thrives.
We believe in accessibility for all; we don’t just level the playing field for students but provide the whole package to make sure your services are completely accessible e.g. to your Deaf students who are BSL users. We offer you: advice and support, BSL videos on your website, remote speech to text service, training in British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness, exam questions from English into BSL, Braille and services for Deafblind students. Whatever your equality requirements and accessibility to learning initiatives are, we can help you.
